Hair Care and Style

Today I have added hints and tip for your hair care and style. As with our skin different hair types require different care and different products to bring the best out.
HAIRCARE & STYLING

Health Check

Our hair & skin reflect the overall state of health. Dull hair could mean lake of nutritional intake. EFA s (essential fatty acids) are a must for glossy, vibrant hair. Zinc helps regrowth.

Shampoo

The natural ph balance of your scalp is between 4-6. check shampoo for ph balance . Many are alkaline which can leave hair dull & unhealthy looking.

Shine

Blast your hair with freezing cold water after final rinse. This will close the cuticles so light bounces off leaving hair looking super shiny.

Massage

A fingertip massage using slow circular motions when applying conditioner will boost blood circulation & stimulate re-growth.

Appointments

6-8 weeks for a trim . colour as required, treatments no more than once a month.

High Maintenance

Dull lifeless hair can make you look & feel old , don’t forget about your hair.

Condition

Always read bottles . Some leave in conditioners are not for fine hair as they weigh it down, some coat hair & it looks greasy, wash out ones are usually better. Don’t skimp on conditioner your hair needs it.

Good Products

Cheap shampoo s & conditioner s often contain ammonium laurel sulfate , avoid these as they are harsh on your hair.Treat yourself to a salon bottle as & when you can , you will see & feel the difference,

Hair & Diet

By mineral testing hair you can find out your, metabolic type, toxin levels, health status & nutritional imbalances. Analysing the biochemical make up of an individual. Taking remedial action can result in clearer skin, shinier hair, increased energy & even weight loss.

Beauty & the Beast

Alcohol

Can cause dry hair & make coloured hair less vibrant

Moisture


To give hair a pick me up use intensive conditioner or hair mask.

Sleeping


Always sleep with hair down. Wearing it up can damage or break it whilst rubbing on pillow whilst you sleep.

Nuts

Calcium, magnesium, & potassium are wonderful for hair. Almonds contain all.

Lengths


Look for products containing copper peptides they increase growth & thickness & reduce brittleness
